This pro-Franco propaganda film takes as its subject an episode of the Spanish civil war: the heroic resistance of the nationalists during the 70-days long republican siege of Toledo's Alcazar, which did not end successfully. It is an obvious celebration of the heroic defense of the nationalistic and patriotic ideals Fascism stood for.
